BREW GUIDE
How to make pour over coffee at home

A clean, delicate cup — made by hand

Pour over is a manual brewing method using a filter and a slow, controlled pour. The standard ratio is 20g of coffee to 300ml of water — roughly 1:15.

What you'll need

A dripper, paper filter, kettle, and scales if you have them. A single-origin like our Kenyan Peaberry brews particularly well this way.

How to brew it

1. Boil around 600ml of water.

2. Weigh out 20g of coffee.

3. Grind to a texture close to sea salt.

4. Fold your filter into a clean dripper.

5. Rinse the filter, then discard the water.

6. Add coffee, level it, wait for kettle to reach 90°C.

7. Bloom with 50g water for 30 seconds.

8. Pour in spirals to 300g total, over ~2.5 minutes.

9. Done once the bed looks flat and even.
