Our Kenyan Peaberry Coffee is a hit with all our customers. This little freak of nature packs a unique punch and has all of us hooked! Â It is perfect in a black coffee, as espresso or filter. The tasting notes for the Kenyan Peaberry Coffee are:
- Aroma: Sweet and Fruity
- Acidity: High
- Body: Full
- Flavours: Stone fruit with a juicy but sharp citrus.
The peaberry used to be considered a  rare defect until someone discovered how amazing it tasted! Now we would never turn back. The peaberry can also be known as Caracoli and only occurs in 5% of all coffees. This coffee is the SL28 variety of arabica. Grown on the Kissi Estate in Kenya.
Kenya has a long history of growing coffee as they are right next-door to the origin of the coffee plant, Ethiopia. Kenya is very well known for  consistency for all of their coffee. They favour the washed process for many of their coffees,.
We get this coffee through the IAC (inter-america Coffee) along with many other of our coffees. Find out more about them HERE.
If you love this coffee and want to try something similar then we would recommend the Winchester Blend or our Sumatran Coffee!
